My name is Charles West, I am a full time computer repair technician at a small shop in Norfolk, VA called Computer Command. I got my break "literally" in computers shortly after I bought my first one. I purchased my first computer in December of 1999. In January I did something to it and "broke it" I took it back to the place I purchased it from and they charged me another $100 to fix it, I knew then I was in the wrong line of work. About a month or two later it happened again, I took off the side of the computer and looked inside and found only a few moving parts, I thought to myself how hard can it be to fix it. I bought the A+ for dummies book and fixed it myself. I then got my A+ certification in May, and by the first week of June I got my first computer job at CompUSA, and as they say the rest is History.
